Background noise of City College of New York Students and Henrietta Yurchenco talking between recordings.
Recording at the Head Start Program at the Progressive Club, Johns Island, South Carolina. The recording includes three sessions at the Progressive Club: the first of children play singing ("If You're Happy and You Know It" and "Are you Sleeping, Brother John"), the second an interview of an unidentified woman who supervises the Head Start program, and the third of an unidentified Johns Island female resident about the issues facing Johns Island.
